tteries, accessories, and six 10,000 mah-12,000 mah battery packs. The Watershed Chattooga kept everything dry throughout the duration of the trip. I kept my raft upright, so I cannot say the bag passed a brutal submersion test, but through heavy rain and tons of rapids washing over all the gear, my cameras and electronics saw no water. My only difficulty related to the bag was the bag closure about 10-12 days into the trip. I had a tough time getting it sealed back up after opening, but I feel this was a combination incredibly fine sand that gets into everything and my tired, cracked, and bleeding fingers. After cleaning with filtered, non-silty water then applying seal protectant supplied with the bag, closing the bag eased up. I plan on buying a GoForth or Ocoee bag to use on those kayak trips where the raft stays at home.

The bag I ordered was too small. I gave it a high rating because for a tiny bag it's good. This bag would fit a change of clothes and maybe a little more. It would be helpful to have the pictures on the website include something to show the relative size...

Johan Cilliers –
Hi all, I have been using the chattooga for about 4 years now and I love it. The bag has outlasted all my other dry bags by 3 and half year. I am so impressed with this bag that I only buy and use watershed bags for all my water adventures. I am a outdoor instructor in the UK and use dry bags daily will paddle. The chattoga is a great size for day trip and keep all my gear dry, If you want a bag that will be hard wearing and last for a very long time it is worth it.

This is the perfect size day bag for whitewater boaters. Larger than most day bags but not too big, and super tough and dry. Fits easily in the back of an inflatable kayak and has plenty of room for a first aid kit, repair stuff, lunch, drinks, sunscreen, even room to throw in an extra layer of fleece.
